FOR 50+ YEARS

 MEN AND WOMEN HAVE BEEN

 SET FREE THROUGH

 THE MINISTRY OF TEEN CHALLENGE

AND NOW WE ARE COMING TO RVA

THE PROJECT

#hope804 is an awareness and fundraising campaign to start the first and only Adult and Teen Challenge in Richmond, Virginia.

Our vision is to open a residential home in the Greater Richmond Region for men struggling with alcohol and drug addiction who are ready to leave their old life behind and start a new clean life found in Christ.

Teen Challenge began nearly 60 years ago. There are over 200 residential centers in the United States and 1,000 centers around the world. There is no Teen Challenge in Richmond, Virginia, but there will be one soon!

More people died last year in Virginia from drug overdoses than other injury-related causes; including car accidents.

Since 2007, painkillers and heroin alone have killed more than 4,400 people in Virginia.

Fatal drug overdoses increased 38% in Virginia between 2015 and 2016, an alarming jump that state health officials attribute to abuse of synthetic opioids, heroin and prescription fentanyl.
